We just got home. These past two weeks have been extremely trying and it is nice to be home. We have no idea what it’s going to be like to try to go back to work and life so please keep us in your prayers about that.

We are open to some visitors, but please talk to us before stopping by. We’ve been overwhelmed with people the past couple weeks and need some down time. We are very much looking forward to seeing all of you, we just need to pace ourselves some. Thank you friends for all your support during this difficult time, we’ll be leaning on your friendships for a while I’m sure. Hope to see you soon.

We are home for a day with our friends from California, Thomas and Deb. We’ll be here most of tomorrow if anyone wants to see us give us a call. Otherwise we’ll be going back to Narrows tomorrow night for a few more days. Special thanks to Alisha Fogel for watching our cats and cleaning our house(!!!!) while we were gone.

With the help of a tremendous outpouring of support from the community and our friends and family we made it through the last couple days. Thousands of people from the community came out on Friday to the viewing. Also we had friends come in from Sacremento, CA, Baltimore, MD and Richmond to be there with us yesterday at the Funeral. Thank you everyone for being there to mourn with us and support us. We are still trying to figure out how long we’ll be here before heading back to Richmond. I’ll post when we figure that out.

We’ve been trying to get Jarrett’s best friend Todd back from the military for Jarrett’s funeral. Jarrett and Todd have been best friends for most of their lives. Because they have been friends for so long Todd has been another son to Tracey and she really felt a need to see him after losing Jarrett. At first he wasn’t going to be able to come back, but thanks to the kind people at Gov. Kaine and Sen. Webb’s offices they were able to get Todd and his wife Michelle permission to come back for a few days. Also special thanks to my great friend Scott for coordinating that. Thanks you everyone for making that happen, it means so much to Tracey and all the rest of the family.

We have finalized funeral arrangements for Jarrett. The viewing will be at Narrows High School at 3pm tomorrow, Friday the 20th. The funeral will be at 2pm on Saturday the 21st, also at Narrows High School.

If out of town friends and family want to come to it you are welcome, but don’t feel any pressure to be there. If you are going to come down please let us know so we can make some arrangements for places to stay for people. Thanks,
