Man, some great games today! After being very disappointed last week when my two favorite teams(Ravens and Eagles) got knocked out of the playoffs, I was very happy this week when probably my two next favorite teams pulled out wins. I loved watching the Bears D really step it up. And to see Peyton rally the troops to finally beat his nemesis(no, not Tom Brady, his nemesis is NE’s D) was great as well! I’m a little torn who I will be rooting for in the Super Bowl… normally it would be Chicago, but I would like to see Peyton get a ring. Should be a good game though! I can’t wait!
Churchy weekend

We went to two different churches this weekend. Both are fairly recent church plants. Last night we went to A Different Richmond and this morning we went to The Well. We have been to ADR before a number of times. We got to meet little Sojourner Abbey Higgins(Rock and Stephanie’s new baby girl). This morning we visited The Well for the first time. We felt like we really fit in socially at The Well. We’ll be going back next weekend to connect a little more and we’ll see where things go from there.

New years was fun. Mike and Brad came down for the weekend and it’s always nice to have them around. We went with some friends to Carytown with 5000 other crazies for the ball rise(!?!?) there. It seemed like everyone but us was drunk which took some away from it, but it was cool to be there for the first time they did that.
Big life change announcement! Starting January 1 I am no longer employed with Kite Technology Group. I’m now officially self-employed. Go me. The new company is called Farrell IT. If you know of anyone who needs IT help in Richmond and send them my way I’ll love you forever! I’m still doing mostly subcontracting for Kite Tech until I ramp up business down here, but things are coming together.
